Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

You’ll be a key contributor supporting the Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services network environment such as routers, switches, circuits, firewalls (Palo Alto & Forcepoint), intrusion prevention devices, etc. As the Senior Advanced IT Network Specialist, you’ll implement, support, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues being physical or virtual network infrastructure components and coordinate with team members and/or vendors. We’ll ask that you participate as an active team member and to be knowledgeable within the different elements of the networking environment. What you’ll experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience Knowledge and experience in a single network domain and fully understands process applications within domain of expertise Expert knowledge of a second network domain and the interconnections within the enterprise Working knowledge of BGP, GLBP, IPSEC VPNs (IKEv2 and ISAKMP), IP SLA and event tracking Working knowledge of Cisco routers & switches including ASR/ISR and Nexus/Catalyst, Cisco software (IOS, IOS-XE, and NXOS), Gigamon aggregators, Cisco ISE or ACS What sets you apart:

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $123,600.00 - USD $133,800.00 /Yr.
