Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled production worker to join our team for the second shift. Located at our Mason City, Iowa facility, we mix and supply custom mixed rubber compounds to all our US & international facilities as well as other large outside companies. You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient and timely production of our products.
Responsibilities:Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process (i.e. check weigh, extruder, minor station, batch off and cutter station).Follow production schedules and ensure tasks are completed within specified timelines.Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.Package finished products according to established procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment a plus.Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively.Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent standing, sitting, walking reaching, handling and lifting (up to 40lbs.) and moving heavier items with appropriate equipment.Strong attention to detail and quality.Good communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Willingness to work second shift hours.Operate a forklift when needed.Benefits:
