The

IT Support Specialist

will be responsible for fielding requests for assistance with various computer and mobile systems, software applications, or other technical issues. Responds to queries, runs diagnostics, isolates problems, and implements solutions. This includes the ongoing support to users after they've been helped either by answering follow-up questions or helping them learn how to use the system on their own.

Essential Functions:

Utilize a ticket management system to record, update and resolve tickets from individuals seeking supportSupport end-users with IT-related problems in a responsive and service-oriented mannerSetup, manage, and maintain IT-related equipmentMonitor backup jobs and ensure a high level of completion success rateManage time and projects effectivelyHelp put processes in place to maintain a stable network environmentTrain staff with IT related equipmentAssist with the troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systemsMonitor performance levels of software and hardwareMaintain information architectures (data, application, and network) ensuring the system is onlineMaintain hardware and software maintenance agreements to ensure integrity of operationResearch capabilities, best practices, and business solutions to make recommendations back to our partners to keep the company advancing forwardIdentify opportunities and put forward ideas to support cost effectivenessWipe & reset electronics that have not yet met lifecycle requirements for reissueAssist individuals with lifecycle replacementsOther duties as assignedKnowledge and Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Share Point and other softwareTicketing System experience (ManageEngine is a plus)Experience in learning and implementing new systemsProven ability to prioritize tasks and issues according to the business impactGood time management skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to multi-task and work under pressureAbility to work autonomously and within teamFlexible and proactive with a "will do' attitudeAbility to work nights and weekends. Bachelor's degree in management information systems or related degreeNote: Relevant professional-level work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree1-2 years in IT or Business SystemsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment

Pay : Up to $28.57 hourly
