Length: 13 Week4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidaysRequirements:
AZ license2 years' experienceMust have strong general Medical & Surgical ICU experienceACLS, BLSOther Details:
Float to MS Tele and ED Holds (2 Main)
Float to MedSurg or possibly to MICU
EMR: Cerner
Ratios: 1 to 2 if ICU patients; 1 to 3 if MedSurg patients. The acuity of the patients on this unit is less than the acuity of the ICU patients. Typically staffed with 2 nurses for 4+ patients. Will flex to tele, ratio 1:4 if no ICU patients.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Vasoactive drips, vent weaning per protocol, some CHF (unstable), Sepsis,
