Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW and holiday requiredLength:
13 weeksMust work 2 of 3 holidaysRequirements:
NJ license1.5+ years of experience, along with surgical oncology experienceRequired experience: EPIC, chest tubes/trachs/drains, bariatric, GI surgery, FLAP and DIEP, post-surgical care, wound care, managing and interpreting telemetry, sepsis, spinal compression, strong IV skillset, and care of patients with a wide spectrum of cancers (bladder/kidney/colorectal/ENT/lung/ovarian/pancreatic/prostate)BLS and ACLS requiredNIH preferredOthers:
Ratios: 1:4+ for MS/Tele patients; 1:3+ for IMC patients; 1:2+ for q1 hour FLAPSFirst time travelers are acceptedLocals acceptedPatient Mix: 9 bed PCU/surgical oncology unit; DIEP and Head & Neck Flaps, trach management. This patient population may have chest tubes and drains and may be more complex surgical patientsWill float to all oncology units along to all other units within skillset, as needed
