The Application Specialist will effectively support, train, and improve the appropriate constituents on the application, proper use, and installation of the company's products. Become a trusted advisor to constituents by adding value and building rapport through training, technical support, and field engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for increasing proficiency and building rapport amongst installation contractors or maintenance staff.
Responsible for customers formal and informal training and technical support of all product lines conducted both in the office and in the field, virtually or face to face.
Responsible for delivering training and technical support with full understanding of applicable codes, industry practices, company standards and procedures.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application and installation of company's products and viewed as the trusted advisor amongst end-users, specifiers, contractors, OEM's, and manufacturer's reps.
Supports the internal staff as a technical resource to elevate internal knowledge, enhance product development, support demand creation strategy, customer experience efforts, and sales support.
Responsible for conducting on-site visits and audits to make recommendations where necessary utilizing detailed field audit reports and company processes and procedures.
Promotes the company's products and image in the marketplace to achieve company sales growth expectations across all product categories.
Provides ongoing application and product feedback to internal development team to improve on current products and to increase additional offerings.
Participates in the development of training materials, marketing information and product promotion dealing with technical relevancy, accuracy and integrity.
Remains current on upcoming changes to codes, standards and/or industry trends and communicates these changes periodically to internal team. Continually updates the sales and marketing team with leads for conversion target (i.e. end-users, specifiers, contractors, OEM's, and distributor).
Responsible to enter relevant information in companies CRM allowing information to be shared across the division aiding in better decision support of the organization.
Stays aware of market activities including all potential competitors Responsible for following all safety policies of internal organization and onsite customers facilities visited
Responsible for adherence and knowledge of all ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts, and quality policy
Responsible for driving Self-Managed Performance (SMP) program through organization through self-motivation, initiative, and participation
