The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist will help establish a marketing practice to expand the reach of communications initiatives that engage, educate, and excite audiences in St. Jude science, medicine and mission. This role will support the strategy development, planning and execution of outreach efforts in traditional, performance and novel marketing methods depending on campaign needs.
Our mission is to advance research and cures for children with catastrophic diseases. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the mission with work on reputation and awareness campaigns in health communications, recruitment, and scientific advancements, and support a team that amplifies the institutions most important communications.Job Responsibilities:Provide digital marketing expertise and direct campaign support by managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of paid marketing efforts.Define key performance indicators and analyze performance to optimize tactics.Provide consultation on and direct support for customer relationship management system and email marketing strategies.Align paid media and organic efforts, working closely with SEO, content, and social teams to keep all tactics on strategyImplement A/B testing methodologies on ad formats, channels, and messaging to continuously improve performance metrics.Track and analyze campaign performance to provide data-driven recommendations with partners and stakeholders.Research and monitor trends to ensure marketing strategies reflect best practices.Develop and execute communication needs and plans for stakeholder teams and leadership.Leverage a creative and compelling array of communications including presentations, email, newsletters, announcements, information sheets, application brochures, articles and videos.Recommend methods of communication to ensure all relevant information is appropriately conveyed to identified populations.Serve as a communication expert for the key stakeholder departments and other areas of the institution, offering guidance on measuring, optimizing, and reporting on digital marketing campaigns.Work with external vendors to support projects and monitor progress to ensure the institution's needs are supported.Evaluate new media to produce innovative, effective internal campaigns.Keep track of campaign activities and ensure alignment with the project timelines and objectives.Provide guidance, assistance, and mentoring support to less experienced colleagues on routine processes and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the institution.Maintain regular and predictable attendance.Minimum Education and/or Training:Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field.Masters degree preferredMinimum Experience:Four (4) + years of digital marketing experience in an agency or corporate marketing and communications environment.Prefer at least three (3) years of experience developing and executing performance marketing campaigns end-to-end.Proficiency in software programs such as Google Ads, Ad Manager, programmatic advertising platforms, Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other tools used to create communication materials.Preferred experience leading integrated marketing campaigns in the digital landscape.Preferred experience with email marketing contact relationship management systems and digital marketing platforms.Some experience stakeholder management preferred.Proven performance in earlier role.CompensationIn recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $70,720 - $126,880 per year for the role of Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.
