Overview:
As our
QA Automation Engineer , you will be an integral part of the design and implementation of Information Technology oriented business solutions. The person in this position assists in the delivery of automated testing services in support of IT objective. This position will identify and adopt new testing methodologies, best practices and tools to improve test coverage and greatly reduce the need for repetitive functional testing. This role does require some in-person work weekly in Omaha, Nebraska.Detailed Description:Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Create automated test components and suites to reduce repetitive testing using Java and Keyword based test frame worksUtilize provided tool sets to develop automated test scripts used to perform testing on web UI, mobile, API and backend systemsEnsure test suites and test cases align to software development standards, code is managed in version control tools and will perform code reviews for visibility and to build automation competency across the teamEnsure software development standards, policies and documented requirements are met by generating traceability matrices and reportsConduct defect management and work with technical and business teams to resolve functional and non-functional issues and ensure the quality of deliverablesAssist with design of system integration, regression, and UAT testing solutions utilizing business/functional requirements to follow Adaptive/Responsive development standardsProvide recommendations on automation tools based on industry standards to minimize defects and improve the stability of the applicationsAbide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading CompanyMust be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance noticeWork requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors

Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related field requiredExperience
3+ years of experience as a Software/QA Engineer or related discipline3+ years of experience translating business/functional requirements into test requirements3+ years of experience in designing and developing automation test suites for both UI and APIs2+ years of experience maintaining automated testing tools such as TestComplete, BitBar, Selenium, Selenium Grid, QuickTest ProExperience with Web, Mobile and API testing technologies and toolsExperience with source control tools such as Git, GitHub or GitLabExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CodeDeploy or JenkinsOther Qualifications
