Marketing Events Specialist - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:
Pay Range: $25hr - $31hr
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
Develop event concepts and themes based on organizational objectives.Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals.Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and schedules.Secure necessary permits and permissions for events as required.Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with event suppliers and vendors.Ensure all contracted services and deliverables meet quality and cost expectations.Manage events giveaway inventory by tracking and reordering branded swag as needed.Event Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and materials for events.Utilize various channels to market events, such as social media, email campaigns, and partnerships.On-Site Event Coordination:
Oversee set-up, tear-down, and on-site management of events.Coordinate staff, volunteers, and third-party contractors during events.ddress any issues or emergencies that may arise during events.Reporting and Budget:
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.Prepare event reports, including budget reconciliation and attendee feedback analysis.Manage and open all purchase orders for events teamQualifications:
Proven experience as an Events Specialist or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully planning and executing events.Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
