•Work with the hardware engineering and project management teams to gather requirements, plan and perform hardware installs, reconfigurations and de-installations of Mainframe hardware, Open Systems hardware, Storage Arrays and other peripherals in critical 7/24 Data Center environments.•Manage vendors providing hardware support of Mainframe, Open Systems and SAN storage hardware.•Provide 7/24 hour support for problem diagnosis of Mainframe, Open Systems and SAN Storage Hardware and Cabling Infrastructure.•Manage vendors providing Cabling installation services.•Utilize problem and change management ticketing systems to insure all changes and problems are accurately tracked and resolved
