We are seeking a collaborative Enterprise Applications Analyst with expertise in the Ellucian Colleague ERP system and strategic data reporting. CampusWorks consultants engage with our clients in higher education to assist them in fully leveraging their people, processes, policies, and technologies. We work collaboratively with clients' functional and technical teams and our CampusWorks colleagues to evaluate current processes, design future-state optimal processes, and to architect, develop, test, train, and rollout process and technical solutions that delight our clients.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze business processes; gather critical information from various stakeholders; anticipates and provides excellent written requirements; uncover improvement areas; develop and implement optimization strategies and acceptable solutions to meet business needs.Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users; conducts meetings and presentations to cross-functional team members and management; and shares and communicates ideas, findings, and detailed reports.Participates in projects as a technical lead, subject matter expert or technical liaison with client stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects; develops or adheres to project plans; prioritizes own time based on project timelines, helpdesk tickets, etc.Analyze the impacts on upstream and downstream systems, ensuring integration requirements to and from existing and new systems are thoroughly understood.Collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Applications to review new projects and identify the minimum set of artifacts required for systems analysis sign-off.Provide functional and technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs, processes, and reporting.Analyze existing custom Colleague code, screens, and files, with the goal of removing customizations no longer required for daily operations and assists end users and departments to transition processes and practices to Ellucian-delivered functionality.Troubleshoot errors and issues encountered by end users and provides resolution to solve issues to client's satisfaction.Analyze code to find causes of errors and, within acceptable guidelines, revise programs as required to meet industry best practice solutions.Partner with manager and client end users to gather requirements about business process flow, application intent, functions, features, data, input, and output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment, and interfaces with other systems.Create and test transactions to find errors and confirm program meets specifications.Assist clients in identifying data integration points and functional dependencies within the Colleague ERP system and third-party systems. Work closely with project management and technical teams to support successful deployment.Collaborate with clients to develop functional conversion requirements and data mapping specifications.Update ticket tracking database with pertinent information.Requirements

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency of MS Office Suite.Thorough technical knowledge in development methodologies, design, and implementation.Effective skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.Good understanding of the entire development and implementation process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance.Understanding of higher education related business processes in one or more of these areas: Student, Finance, Financial Aid, Human Resources/Payroll, or Institutional Reporting.Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.Excellent decision-making, time-management, and planning skills.Customer-centric approach to problem-solving.In-depth knowledge of relational databases in SQL, preferably Microsoft SQLMust be a self-starter and motivated to move projects forward.Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly demanding environment.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent5 years of experience of functional or technical use of and knowledge of Ellucian Colleague and/or Banner ERP application.Preferred Qualifications:Programming languages: Envision (requirement for Colleague), C#, .net, Java, Python.Experience with SoftDocs or similar Enterprise Content Management tools such as OnBase, Hyland, Kuali Build, Image Now.Experience writing SQL queries.Experience collaborating with clients to gather requirements and understanding business processes.Colleague Functional Experience including Core, Student, Self-Service, Finance, AP, Budget, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, Financial Aid, HR, Payroll, Web Time Entry, Dashboards, and typical Reporting tools.Experience with Ellucian CRM Recruiter and/or CRM Advise, Ellucian Ethos use and integration.Experience with Ellucian Intelligent Learning Platform (ILP).Experience with Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) platform.
