Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java developer to join our Military Health client at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. These business opportunities are in support of the Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center (JMLFDC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with a particular focus on JavaTo be a strong team player you must have good communication skills, be proactive in identifying issues and risks, and work with the client and the team to be a trusted advisorUse your strong analytic skills and ability to solve challenges with technology to make an impact on our government clients critical missionsDemonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, working in a collaborative team environment using modern software development practicesDevelop and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications, ensuring a responsive and efficient user experience.
Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDMust be a US citizenAble to obtain, a U.S. Government Public Trust Suitability clearance level Tier 3, NACLC background investigation.Full Stack development experience,with a preference for Java. Experience with both frontend and backend technologies is essential.Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and HibernateExperience with enterprise-level application development and Microservice architecture / development experienceExperience in building front-end application using Angular and JavaScriptExperience with backend development, particularly in building scalable and secure server-side applicationsExperience using relational and/or NoSQL database systemsExperience using MongoDB or another document-oriented databaseKnowledge of containerization and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Helm, Kubernetes).Knowledge of design patterns applicable to Java EE solutionsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies.Certifications Desired:
