OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Drupal Developer responsible for front-end development and theming as well as back-end/module development. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, Java, JS, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, etc.). The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with modern frameworks and responsive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
DUTIESResponsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing, and guiding the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of a Drupal CMSCollaborate closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience developing web solutions in Drupal 9/10 and PHP implementations in a LAMP environmentExperience with Drupal custom entities and the Drupal Form APIExperience with theming, views, and custom plugins and blocks in Drupal 10Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architectureExperience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, SCSS/SASS, CSS, and JavaScript/TrueScriptExperience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsExtremely fluent with HTML5/XHTML and CSSStrong proficiency in JavaScriptComfortable working with web tools including Git, Drush, Composer, Gulp/Grunt, Firefox Developer Tools, Chrome Dev Tools, etc.Experience creating UI and Unit testingExperience with information architecture and taxonomy development and implementationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Successfully containerized Drupal 10 using DockerImplemented Drupal solutions on AWS, with services such as ECS, EFS, RDS, and S3Maintained CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated unit testing and component patch updatesExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs using JSON:APIExperience integrating Solr and Nutch for search functionality in DrupalExperience designing, implementing, and managing search solutions using Solr, Elasticsearch, Kibana or similar search solutionsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to search infrastructureAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pagesExperience as Node.js and Express.js developer. with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Next.js) is a plus
Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year
