About the job:

As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will help to evaluate and support our manufacturing operations. This role will provide the ability to work side-by-side with high performing, experienced Industrial Engineers, and you will participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing activities. You will have the opportunity to identify areas of improvement in cycle time utilizing different Factory Physics theories and utilize multiple types of industry standard software to analyze operational performance gaps and develop reports on your findings.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to

:Support FAB capacity modeling activitiesSupport equipment throughput analysis in clean room environmentParticipate in production scheduling and dispatching rules development activitiesGather information required to understand capacity analysis and production impactCollect and validate operational performance data via strong analytic methods on automation and system logs to analyze throughput impact of various process requirementsSupport automating data extraction and manufacturing processesExtract and analyze large data setsWork in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsBasic coding opportunity to develop applications supporting manufacturing needsTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.

Minimum Requirements:

Currently pursuing Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Operations Research or related fieldMinimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPAAbility to work in clean room environment wearing a smockPreferred Qualifications:
