Cirrus Aircraft is currently seeking a Quality Assurance NDI Intern. This is a full-time internship opportunity based onsite at our corporate headquarters in Duluth, Minnesota from May 2025 through August 2025.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Job Duties:
Performs Non-Destructive Testing IAW written policyAssists team members in root cause analysis and assists in corrective action planning to improve product qualityAssists in development of standard operating procedures for relevant quality management system functionsPerforms first article inspectionsProvides recommendation to Issue corrective actions and for quality system and product nonconformanceAssists in development of product quality acceptance standardsParticipant in lean activities & provides input on continuous process improvements and quality management systemAssists in the completion of product and process/system auditsReports on area QC activity and complianceGenerate non-conforming material reportsQualifications:
Current student of the
Nondestructive Testing Technology program at Ridgewater College.Reads interprets and inspects aircraft parts and assemblies in accordance with blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning documentDemonstrates knowledge of the quality assurance manual and the processes/procedures on production products and articlesApplies written processes/procedures to products/ articles for inspectionClearly communicates issues orally and in writingUses common inspection instruments that include but are not limited to calipers, micrometers, indicators and scalesIdentifies non-compliances to established processes/proceduresInterprets proper dispositions in the MRB processSelf-motivated; able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to effectively communicate to all levels of the organizationHandle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasksProficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAviation experience preferred but not requiredAdditional Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.Must be able to complete entire duration of internship.Must be able to secure local housing for duration of internship. A relocation bonus will be provided.Cirrus Student Programs
