Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Jira and Confluence Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing and developing solutions within Jira and Confluence and JSM (Jira Service Management), with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing Confluence and JSM environments to support our organization's needs.

ResponsibilitiesProvide design and development services.Maximize utilization and utility.Provide a positive and fulfilling user experience.Design the Jira Service Manager Portal page, as well as the Confluence site.Monitor, respond, and incorporate changes based on comment feedback in Confluence from users.Maintain and redesign the existing portal page and site to present new information in a manner that is relevant and engaging to users.Serve as a co-administrator of the Jira Service Manager and Confluence pages.Run scrum meetings as requested.Monitor content for relevance and impact and edit or delete expired content or content that is no longer relevant.Track and report metrics, to include number of escalations per agent, reason for escalation, and other data points.Create an automated notification to the end users that informs of a status change from Tier 1 to 2 or from Tier 2 to 3.Education and Experience

Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of design and development experience with Confluence and JSM (Jira Service Management).Scrum Certification required within 90 days of start date.Required Skills

Expertise in Confluence administration, configuration, and customization.Strong experience with JSM workflows, automation, and integrations.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) and Atlassian APIs.Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Desired Skills

Familiarity with Confluence and JSM add-ons/plugins and their integration.Experience with project management tools and practices.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse teams.Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions.Security Clearance
