Business Systems Manager at CBRE in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Business Systems Manager Job ID 185957 Posted 25-Sep-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Data & Analytics, Digital & Technology/Information Technology Location(s) Remote - US - Remote - US - United States of America About the role As a CBRE Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the staff that provides software support, technical assistance, and the development of internal management systems. This role is part of the Business Systems Job Function. They are responsible for working with internal partners and business units to develop, install and enhance new and current systems. What you'll do + Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Coordinate the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Ensure technology roadmap is considered with all decisions and improve as vital based on CBRE and client objectives. + Respond to and resolve technical and system issues within a variety of software packages. Resolve questions and problems within the department. Document issues, resolutions, or other actions using an incident management system. + Apply strong data integration knowledge to deliver centralized data for business analytics in Vantage. + Apply low code/no code automation such as Power Automate, Power App, Smartsheet, Google Sheets as efficient and effective solutions to requests. + Assist the team with the installation of basic system migrations. This also includes new clients, system implementations, and upgrades. + Ensure that all supported systems are following established standard methodologies, regulatory requirements (such as US Federal Regulations, ITAR, Cyber), CAPP, and internal and external controls. + Identify process and system improvements. Participate in internally driven projects to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Recommend implementing functional operational programs and procedures. + Communicate ongoing feedback on team, project, and department impact of projects. Present team and client facing training for system overviews, changes, and new system deliveries. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. + Apply knowledge of own subject area and how own field integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Identify, solve, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. What you'll need + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention preferred. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The minimum salary for the Business Systems Manager position is 110,000.00 annually [or $52.88 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Business Systems Systems Manager position is $120,000.00 annually [or $57.69 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
