Roles &Responsibilities:•Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems.•Ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any system issues.•Monitor system performance and capacity planning.•Manage system security by setting up user accounts, roles, and directories.•Coordinate with the security team to ensure software and OS updates are appliedregularly.•Provide root-cause analysis for any Linux related service failures.•Collaborate with the network team to ensure efficient operation of thecompany's desktop computing environment.•Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.•Document processes, systems, and configurations.•Support application teams for application installation, troubleshooting, andmigration.•Stay updated with current industry trends and recommend technologies for futureuse.•Support and manage all Unix systems on 24x7 basis.•Configure, install and implement all Unix systems with necessary tools.•Migration of standalone systems to the virtual environment.•Upgrade and patch all Unix systems as required.•Implement standard OS protocols on servers for compliance.•Provide support to users environment•Configure Linux Virtual machine as per the requirement•Support the Migration / re-installation of database and application•Expert in Migration to Linux
