Requirement:Experience administering both Linux and windows operating systemsAbility to communicate across multiple teamsFollow processes and track work and incidents in Jira and Service NowExperience with installation and configuration of SSIS softwareExperience with SSIS package deployment and cmd file configurationProvide infrastructure operations support and administration of the 11.5 and 11.7 DataStage environments. This includes setting up and testing new installations of DataStage, QualityStage and Information analyzer.Engineer and Install/OS upgrade Information Server product suite. Post install Configuration, various data sources configuration for the plug-ins, connectors as well as ODBC configurations.Document Runbooks for the installs/upgrades and Disaster Recovery plans etc...Stop/Start Engine services, monitor logs, setting up Security, Create/Delete projects, assigning roles, project permissions, create/modify environmental parameters etc.Monitor the InfoSphere suite (Data Stage/Quality Stage) servers. Kill/assist release job locks, shared memory locks, hung processes etc...Apply fixes, patches and service packs as required. Ensure infrastructure and application stability through preventative maintenance, monitoring.troubleshooting, and implementing long term solutions.Capacity planning projects in the shared environment.Experience working with IBM support with ticketing to resolve technical challenges.Roles & Responsibilities

Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating systemsInstallation and configuration of DataStage and SSIS SoftwareSupport and troubleshoot job failures.Remediate security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.Deploy SSIS packages to various environments.Deploy and schedule DataStage packages across various environments.The position will also be responsible for administrating and maintaining a DataStage shared environment across multiple domains.Monitoring and ensure the optimal usage and efficient performance of the infrastructure.Track all work and incidents in Jira and Service Now
