What You'll Do

As a Sr Infrastructure Engineer on our Global Connectivity team, youll provide strategic planning and execution of high visibility initiatives across our global landscape. In addition, youll collaborate with internal clients, peers, and leadership to influence the modernization of our datacenter, campus and cloud-based networks. Additionally, as business continues to change at a quicker pace you will help Principal build a best-in-class network infrastructure while finding innovative ways for customers and team members to connect with us - no matter where they are.As a member of the team, you will:

Clearly communicate technical concepts to business partners as well as communicate business objectives to the technical team and get consensus from the group.Demonstrate independence working in more than one system. Take initiative to fix issues before being assigned. Seek empirical evidence through proof of concepts, tests and external research. Take the lead in proactively establishing controls and ensure the system is secure and meets policy and regulatory requirements during development.Independently conduct analysis and development, requirements, coding, automated testing, debugging, designing, documentation, quality assurance review, implementation, and maintenance. Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs in the area. Develop ability to dig into a system that is unfamiliar and tackle the business issue. Identify and proactively seek to eliminate technical debt.Participate in technical design of features and attain expertise in more technical areas.Research new IT developments. Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalence and 6+ years of related professional experience (routing, switching, SD-WAN, network security)Ability to provide on-call support on a variable basisSome travel may be required, including overnight staysPreferred Technical Skills:

Scripting and network automation with AnsibleAWS Networking including VPC management, DNS, routing, and Transit GatewaysExperience configuring, leading and deploying Cisco ASR and ISR routers, Meraki SD-WAN devices, and Nexus and Catalyst switches.Experience with BGP or other routing protocols, IPSEC, network troubleshooting, Point to Point, MPLS and Internet-based VPNsExposure to DWDM or RODAM fiber implementationsBilingual in Spanish and English is a plusCisco certification CCIE, CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, or CCDA is a plusAbility to foster a creative atmosphereWillingness to teach peers.Capability to listen to an issue to help drive conversations to expectations and requirementsProvide equal participation while brainstorming ideas to find a solution

Salary Range Information:Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range:$112000 - $152000 / year

Time Off Program:Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees dont accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
