About the role
We are looking to add a
Cybersecurity Analyst
to our growing IT department. In this role, you will collaborate and make decisions in efforts to protect operations, personnel and information systems against online threats and unauthorized use. You will deliver effective and efficient intrusion detection, incident response, security intelligence, threat, and vulnerability assessments. This is a
Hybrid
role based in Austin, Texas.

Essential Functions
Support cybersecurity initiatives and collaborate with internal partnersPerform cloud security assessmentsSupport existing infrastructure and initiatives, as well as perform security reviews for new productsAssist in vendor onboarding and due diligence processes to ensure new technology vendors adhere to established compliance and cybersecurity baselinesCollaborate with IT team to design, build, and maintain secure and compliant applicationsImprove data collection and analysis for strategic alignment with security monitoring strategyProvide security guidance and assistance to executives and staffUnderstand and support the Company's security policies and proceduresKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Practical experience in building and supporting process automation (e.g., scripting skills)Solid understanding in Segregation of Duties (SoD) and least privilege conceptsAbility to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and generate effective and innovative solutions to address changeAbility to analyze threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)Ability to travel to the Company's various locations, depending on the needs of the CompanyEducation and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience3+ Years of IT Support and Cybersecurity experience preferredAssociate level knowledge of security architecture principles, identity management, networking, security protocols, application security, and DevOps CI/CD pipelinesCloud experience with SaaS products, AWS, and AzureIndustry security certifications a plusCompensation and Benefits
