Project Development Manager

will oversee the development of wind, battery energy storage & solar PV projects from identification through to construction and financial closing. This role involves managing teams, coordinating consultants, and handling permitting, land rights, and stakeholder relationships, with a focus on ERCOT, SPP, and MISO markets. Responsibilities: Lead the transition of projects from development to construction. Manage 3rd party consultants for land, environmental, permitting, and legal activities. Oversee local, state, and federal permitting for wind, BESS & solar farms. Secure land surface rights for project development. Participate in power purchase agreement negotiations and proposal submissions. Identify and assess potential projects for acquisition. Build relationships with stakeholders, including government officials and utilities. Monitor Generation Interconnection studies and participate in agreement negotiations. Manage project budgets and provide regular updates to management. Supervise and train development staff. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred). 4+ years of project management experience in renewable energy, including development through to financial closing.
