Overview:
The AFINC III contract supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26NOS) is seeking qualified Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer. The JRSS team oversees an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF that requires a unique and dynamic skill set.
Experience Required:5+7+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balances, and switchesAnalyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual and physical lab environmentsMonitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leadsEscalate complex network issues to Senior Network AdministratorsDevelop execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possibleReview and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposesDeep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and experience with ACI is desiredNotify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours of all accountable item movesNeatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repairEducation Required:
High School diploma or GEDClearance Required:
