Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include managing the application schema, design, and extensions within the database for development, testing, and production environments for the Oracle database on the Linux platform.The responsibilities include database technical support, performance tuning, application administration and consulting, and providing support for Oracle, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Golden Gate.This resource will serve in a key role in managing Oracle databases on cloud platforms like AWS, Leading the development of procedures and best practices for effective databases for high-volume application systems, and providing database solutions for application modernization.Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS/Linux.Install, configure, and troubleshoot Golden Gate for batch and online process synchronization for high-volume databases.Set up replication and high availability for Oracle databases using tools like Golden Gate.Monitor Oracle database performance.Troubleshoot Oracle database problems.Perform backups and restores of Oracle databases.Work with application developers to identify and refine data requirements, table/database design, and assist in SQL writing.
