NLP Logix is recruiting for a Product Owner to join its growing team of IT and Business professionals. This position is for a full-time employee, will be based out of Dallas, TX and will require less than 5% travel.

The Product Owner will work under the general direction of the Director of Product Delivery and is primarily responsible for leading business requirements gathering sessions and solution design workshops with clients to ensure a complete understanding of the business needs and priorities. The focus will be primarily within our Modern Data solutions and reporting and analytics projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the strategy and execution of data driven products and solutions.
Projects will involve enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at improving multiple domains of operations.
Essential functions and responsibilities:Product Strategy & Vision: Work with Product Managers to develop and maintain a clear product vision and strategy for data and analytics solutions that align with the business goals of the clients.Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the solution backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features and enhancements are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with client initiatives.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across client organizations, including business units, IT, and senior leadership, to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensure alignment on solution goals.Data Product Development: Collaborate with data architects, engineers, data scientists, and analysts to define solution requirements, develop user stories, and ensure successful solution delivery.UserCentric Design: Advocate for usercentric design principles, ensuring that data products and solutions are intuitive, valuable, and address user needs effectively.Roadmap & Release Planning: Develop and maintain solution roadmaps, coordinating release plans with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.Performance & Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for solutions, monitor solution performance, and leverage insights from Client Operations team to drive continuous improvement.Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and maintain a competitive edge.Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all data solutions adhere to data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.Communication & Documentation: Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders, documenting product decisions, progress, and outcomes.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in data and analytics.Strong understanding of data platforms, data engineering, and data science concepts.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteriaAbility to balance priorities, scope, timeline, goals and milestonesExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience with data visualization tools, data management platforms, and analytics tools is a plus.Certification in Product Management or as a Scrum Product Owner is a plus.
