REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or other applicable technical disciplineAble to develop code in C# and C++ on Windows desktop environmentsKnowledge of Domain Driven DesignKnowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Standard and .NET Core is criticalFamiliar with Visual Studio and Azure DevOpsFamiliar with unit testing frameworksFamiliarity with WiX Toolset SDK and InstallShield for building install packagesHas worked or has familiarity with disciplined software development processesExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsSecurity Clearance (or ability to obtain one)Current US Citizenship is required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSRelevant development in Mission Planning for the US Air Force or NavyFamiliarity with Domain Driven Design conceptsFamiliarity with React and/or Web based GUI designFamiliarity with micro servicesFamiliar with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (i.e., Microsoft Entity Framework, Dapper, NHibernate, etc.)Familiar with NUnit/XUnit/MSTest unit test frameworksDesire to work in a DoD environment with the latest aircraft and weapons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Developer will directly support USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) warfighter mission planning needs. Position offers Developer an opportunity to be part of the creative force generating next generation weapon delivery software for USAF and FMS warfighters. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, be an innovative designer, possess excellent communication skills, and work collaboratively in an Agile software development environment.Collaborates with other software developers to analyze, estimate, design and implement features and user storiesParticipates in iteration planning meetings with testers and USAF/FMS Subject Matter Expert (SME), daily stand ups, and technical coordination meetings for reporting issues, planning, and providing statusPeer reviews fellow software developers code and documentationWorks w/architectural owners to ensure development meets vision/system designsWorks with technical lead and senior developers in deriving technical requirements from functional requirementsAble to develop code in C# and C++ on Windows desktop environmentsKnowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Standard and .NET Core is criticalFamiliarity with Domain Driven Design concepts, NUnit/XUnit unit test frameworks, WiX Toolset SDK and InstallShield for building install packagesWhat We OfferCompetitive salariesContinuing education assistanceProfessional development allotmentMultiple healthcare benefits packages401K with employer matchingPaid time off (PTO) along with a federally recognized holiday schedule
