Job Description:
The RoleAre you interested in building software applications from scratch? As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will help design and build brand-new, cloud-based, end-to-end software components for Fidelity's new Center for Family Engagement (FCFE) digital business.
The TeamWe are part of a new family-focused technology domain within Fidelity's Institutional Technology business unit. From concept to launch, we strive to develop innovative suite of digital capabilities while employing modern technologies and crafting user experiences that delight. We design and implement digital solutions that promote and facilitate relational and emotional engagement among financial professionals, their clients, and families.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring6+ years' experience developing web/mobile applications including user interfaces, RESTful web services, and database operations.Good knowledge of Java / JEEExperience with Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate FrameworksProficiency in client-side development - Angular, NgRx, CSS, HTMLFamiliarity with software development in AWS hosted services.Some experience with Docker container developmentKnowledge of web/mobile development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova)Exposure to Storybook JS, Ionic, Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services,API management software such as ApigeeExperience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring FrameworkUnderstanding and some experience working and integrating with database technologiesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArtifactoryKnowledge of secure coding standards and practicesExperience with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent)Experience with Test/Automation tools (Jest, Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium or any other mocking framework)Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with some exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.A solid understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable and resilient software application.Ability to work well within a team and possess strong verbal and written communication skills
