Insight Global is looking for a mid-senior level Data Engineer to join an industry leading oil and gas client in Greeley, CO. The Data Engineer will join the Digital Systems team and be assisting in the preparation for a system wide integration into SAP4HANA in 2026. There are multiple systems of record that don't have access to each other which requires the client to manually pull data from each system of record to compare and make business decisions. The client needs a skilled Data Engineer to create a more efficient and sustainable way to pull data from the data lake and ensure data quality between these different systems of record when extracting for comparison and extrapolation. Duties may include but are not limited to:-Design, develop & maintain data pipelines & ETL processes-Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation techniques and frameworks.-Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, configurations, and best practices.-Identifying, acquiring, cleansing/preparing, storing data and developing reusable data products
This is a hybrid position in Greeley, CO requiring 3 days in office per week on Tues-Thurs and every other Fri off. Mileage will be paid for anyone who is not in the surrounding Greeley area for the commute to and from the office. Pay rate is starting at $60/hour and is flexible pending background/skillset.

Required Skills & Experience-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Coputer Engineering, or related-5+ years of experience within a data engineering or similar role dealing with big data and ETL processes-Advanced programming experience within Python, R & SQL-Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and how they apply to Data Engineering (e.g., CI/CD, version control, testing)
