Senior Business Analyst

Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are looking for a Experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding our business solutions and ensuring the alignment of business processes and information systems to achieve more efficient and effective practices. Key Responsibilities: Conducting in-depth business process analyses to understand and document current processes and to develop recommendations for process improvementsCollaborating with stakeholders to gather and compile user requirements to understand the operational objectivesDesigning and implementing new business models and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsDeveloping and monitoring data analytics to support decision-making and to provide insight into business performanceServing as a liaison between stakeholders and users and the information technology team to ensure technical solutions meet user needsFacilitating meetings and workshops to drive stakeholder consensus and to validate business requirementsPreparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organizationRequirementsQualifications: Proven experience as a Business AnalystStrong analytical and conceptual thinking skillsExcellent documentation skills and attention to detailAbility to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutionsAdvanced technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with business intelligence softwareExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skillsA history of leading and supporting successful projectsPreferred Skills: Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile and ScrumExperience using Azure DevOps to manage requirementsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related fieldexperience working with UI designers in validating if designs meet requirementsexperience working vetting submitted bugs to understand if they are valid and if they are in scopePreferred experience serving in a primary role for a State/Provincial work Projects
