Role: Network AdministratorLocation: Graniteville, SC - OnsiteRate: 35/hr. on C2C - max.Exp.: 3+ yearsClient: BridgestoneJob Summary:Maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware and networks of a company or organization, making sure that its technological infrastructure is running properlyPrimary Responsibilities:Install and configure software and hardwareManage network servers and technology toolsSet up accounts and workstationsMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsTroubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security through access controls, backups and firewallsUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologiesBuild an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Qualifications:Experience with some level of systems administrationExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementKnowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoveryAbility to create scripts in Python, Perl or other languageFamiliarity with various operating systems and platformsTop 3 Skills:IT Troubleshooting skillsThorough understanding of Cisco NetworkingThorough understanding of Microsoft Domain EnvironmentsWhat will your interview process look like?: Preferably Onsite with Site TourYears of experience Required: Really depends on the balance between certs/school/and work history. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Networking and Microsoft Certifications are a plus. Associate degree in networking or IT with 2-4 years experience would be ideal.Work Hours/Schedule: Rotating Shiftwork 12 hour day/night 7a to 7p shifts. Overtime coverage for other shifts is expected.Schedule starts on a Friday Night:Friday Night. Saturday Night. Sunday Night. Monday Night. Tuesday Off. Wednesday Off. Thursday Off. Friday Day.
