Senior System Analyst (SCADA Engineer)

Procom is currently recruiting for a Senior SCADA Engineer to join a dynamic team in Spartanburg, SC. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting SCADA (Ignition) and MES (Sepasoft) applications within the Spartanburg NGDV assembly. This is a hands-on role responsible for both system enhancements and ensuring uptime during production. Key Responsibilities Execute SCADA/MES development and configuration Conduct operator training for SCADA/MES systems Provide direct production support for SCADA/MES to ensure systems remain online during 1st shift Collaborate on the design, development, and implementation of integration enhancements with PLCs, JDE, and other systems Develop functional specifications, test cases, and design documentation Contribute to the development of controls standards for NGDV Analyze system performance and recommend improvements Protect SCADA/MES environments by helping establish operational guidelines for security, data integrity, and recovery controls Develop and modify SCADA/MES systems, including tag databases, reports, and computer setups Assist in the deployment of other technology solutions when needed Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of SCADA/MES development experience with Ignition and Sepasoft Experience with Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, Jython, C, C++, Visual Basic, and SQL Proficient with Windows Servers Preferred Qualifications Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, Web Services) Familiarity with OEE concepts and MES platforms Knowledge of Track and Trace technologies Understanding of ERP systems related to work orders and production scheduling Experience managing code repositories (e.g., GitHub) Location : Spartanburg, SC Salary : $100,000 - $120,000 (Relocation package available) Job Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire
