We are currently seeking a

Global Events Specialist (remote)

for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA (remote) details for the position are as follows:Job Description:

Pay rate $55hr based on experience.This is a 100% remote role.Support event planning and execution deliverables (may include giveaways, gamification, housing support, expo pass distribution)Be on-site at events to provide operational support (registration desk, booth staffing, etc.)Provide hospitality service support at executive events (book and manage customer and executive transportation, on-site host services, food, and beverage coordination)Support speaker management activities including organizing speaker training, scheduling reviews, and rehearsals, managing speaker communications and speaker related forms, as well as providing virtual speaker support for online events and/or on-site speaker support - Work directly with content owners to drive deliverables to deadlines.Support team budget management (including requesting purchase orders, tracking spend, mapping expenses)Effective project management including creation, ownership and adherence to timelines and templates.Qualifications3+ years' experience in Marketing/Marketing support (hospitality or event experience preferred)Cybersecurity industry experience preferred.Excellent written and verbal skillsDetail- and service oriented.Creative, collaborative, and resourcefulProven passion for learning and growthAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Positive and motivated self-starterBudget tracking experience preferred.Your Impact - Key ResponsibilitiesSupport event planning and execution deliverables (may include giveaways, gamification, housing support, expo pass distribution)Be on-site at events to provide operational support (registration desk, booth staffing, etc.)Provide hospitality service support at executive events (book and manage customer and executive transportation, on-site host services, food, and beverage coordination)Support speaker management activities including organizing speaker training, scheduling reviews, and rehearsals, managing speaker communications and speaker related forms, as well as providing virtual speaker support for online events and/or on-site speaker support - Work directly with content owners to drive deliverables to deadlines.Support team budget management (including requesting purchase orders, tracking spend, mapping expenses)Effective project management including creation, ownership and adherence to timelines and templates.Qualifications3+ years' experience in Marketing/Marketing support (hospitality or event experience preferred)Some travel to events is required and paid for.
