Location United States - Remote/Virtual Teradata's Intern Program Teradata's summer Intern program is a place where students of different backgrounds work together with other interns, employees, mentors, and managers in a collaborative environment to build relationships and develop professional skills. During the summer you will have an opportunity to work on meaningful projects that benefit Teradata, our brand, and culture. Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. What you will do In this role you will have the opportunity to work with industry leading Product Engineering professionals to deliver new capabilities/features or services for Teradata's platform solutions, like ClearScape Analytics and Vantage Cloud. Through your work with other interns and cross functional product teams you will help deliver industry leading capabilities to Teradata's platform technology. Your work as part of the Product Engineering team will directly impact our products and customers. Who you will work with Our global Product Engineering team is focused on delivering world-class technology to our customers at scale. We are grounded by our core principles and building teams that are; + Customer and market driven + Agile in execution + Accountable to each other What makes You a qualified candidate + Highly motivated cloud/software engineer with prior software development experience + Ability to multi-task across development efforts beyond coding (system configuration, testing, and research) + Success working with integrated development teams + Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree program, with a graduation date between December 2025-June 2027. What You'll Bring + Openness to learn new things and work in a collaborative team environment + Experience working in fast-paced agile scrum development environment + Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly + strong communication skills + Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) + Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages including Python, Power CLI, JSON, C/C++ Machine learning(AI/ML) for example: Dataiku, H20, Aws Sagemarker, Domino Datalab + Common/public Microservice for provisioning and runtime operations related to a SaaS application + Ability to work in Linux/Unix environments + SQL / Teradata Advanced SQL Engine knowledge Why We Think You'll Love Teradata We prioritize a people-first culture because we know our people are at the very heart of our success.
