Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.What You'll DoAs a QA Lead, you will join a Mobile team that uses a combination of quality management, data analysis, and technical skills to drive and improve the testing process, risk analysis, and quality evaluations related to the development and release of Fortnite on mobile devices. In this role, you'll research and utilize mobile industry, device, and player data to develop and drive the execution of testing strategies covering Fortnite's functionality and usability on mobile devices.In this role, you willWork with product owners, developers, and QA management to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releasesReview test plans for proper coverage and identify gapsMaintain a broad understanding of mobile technologies, supported devices, and chipset configurations to facilitate test coverage for low, mid, and high-end devicesIdentify and drive the implementation of mobile quality reporting, testing techniques, and best practicesLead and grow a quality assurance team as both a people manager and a tactical driver of success, with the ability to contribute to day-to-day efforts as neededDevelop a plan that solves the week-to-week testing requirements and expectations at a team level and leads the team to execute against that planEscalate issues to the right owners so that major issues are visible and handled as early in the development process as possibleWhat we're looking for3+ years of QA experience working in software, mobile, and/or game developmentFoundational understanding and experience with web, modern consoles, PCs, and/or mobile devices using Android and/or IOS operating systemsPast experience testing frontend and backend services, console and mobile platforms, and creating detailed test plans and test cases for themStrong analytical and problem-solving experience in technical environmentsFamiliarity and willingness to learn new technical frameworks, concepts, and toolsAbility to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced team environmentProven track record of successful contributions to the release of high-quality productsEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
