Overview:
Nakupuna Consulting is looking to hire a Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) to help support our Navy Bureau of Medicine & Surgery (BUMED) BUILDER DMLSS/LogiCole Readiness Support Project Team (Team Nakupuna). The candidate will be responsible for providing support for all Facility Management database sustainment modules. Database modules will be maintained based on information from and under the technical direction of the Activity Facility Manager. The candidate will join our Naval Medical Forces Support Command (NMFSC) team in Pensacola, FL.Responsibilities:The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this position, but management may assign additional duties and responsibilities at any time. Specific duties include:Ensure the most recent DMLSS compatible Computer Aided Design drawings are properly stored and accessible at all times to other DMLSS-FM users and customers.Maintain the association between the DMLSS-FM Room Inventory database and the drawings.Link the room inventory records with the drawings and reconcile discrepancies between the room inventory records and the drawings records.Maintain a list of work requests and projects that result in changes to facility layout (walls, doors, etc.) and sketch (redline) changes on an existing hard (paper) copy of drawings.At least once per quarter, provide list of changes to the Activity Facility Manager facility management staff for review, and update the drawing inventory accordingly each quarter.Incorporate progress in the monthly report to BUMED technical representative.Maintain an accurate and complete Facility Inventory.Facility Inventory changes shall be tracked and compared to iNFADS on a monthly basis and the Facility Inventory shall be reconciled against the iNFADS database on an annual basis at minimum.Develop standards for reconciliation for BUMED review and approval.Maintain a list of all NVFAC Asset Managers and their Real Property Asset Officers (RPAO) as part of the standards.Maintain the DMLSS facility management database inventories of facilities, rooms, and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE), per BUMED Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) inventory Standard Enclosure 5 using DMLSS-FM system modules.Populate and maintain maintenance procedure and preventive maintenance schedule records using the DMLSS-FM Preventive Maintenance Schedule and Maintenance Procedures.Create, update and closeout work requests for specific work classifications, perform work management support service that enables tracking work performed within the facilities, both preventive maintenance (scheduled), and repair (unscheduled), using the DMLSS-FM Work Request module and local MAXIMO or other CMMS platforms.Maintain and update records of all active facility projects in the DMLSS-FM Project Management.Provide support to administer the DMLSS Regulatory Compliance/Joint Commission module to include the entry of government furnished Regulatory Compliance/Joint Commission procedures, and recurring inspection requirements (fire drills. disaster drills, generator testing, safety training, etc.) using the DMLSS-FM Regulatory Compliance/Joint Commission module.Maintain accurate contact information on all organizations and personnel who support the medical facility, i.e., Contractors, manufacturers, vendors, DOD agencies, regulatory agencies, etc., utilizing the DMLSS-FM Directory Module.Record, coordinate, and track all above standard facilities work request in DMLSS.
Qualifications:Skills/Qualifications: ? The ideal candidate for the Database Sustainment Engineer position must possess strong technical and reporting skills, with a proven track record in database support within a similar domain. They should have comprehensive knowledge of DMLSS-FM, BUILDER, iNFADS, and other CMMS systems like NAVFAC MAXIMO and NAVFAC eProjects.Education & Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree or comparative years of professional experience in project management, or a similar field.Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a government-issued CAC and possess a Secret security clearance.Physical Requirements:
