Network Operations Specialist (Evening & Weekend Support)
Prequel Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician for a long-term contract role in Harrisburg, PA. This role is essential for providing after-hours support to ensure the smooth operation of network services across various Commonwealth agencies. This position is an hourly W2 contract role with a payrate up to $21/hour, depending on experience, and offers health and retirement benefits. Key Responsibilities:Monitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools like Solar Winds.Provide Level 1 support, escalating complex issues to senior engineers or third-party providers.Respond to system outages and network alarms, ensuring quick issue resolution.Communicate network status updates and incident reports to stakeholders.Assist in maintaining and updating knowledgebase documentation.Requirements:
2+ years of experience in network support, help desk, or system administration.Strong communication skills and ability to handle varying IT skill levels.Familiarity with incident management, ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and monitoring tools.
Schedule:
After-hours and weekend shifts.
