The Industrial Security Analyst ,
will perform actions and tasking as assigned in the development, administration and adherence to security policies and procedures in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and ICD-705. You will be a self-starter and work under limited supervision. Your experience and familiarity with the requirements of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) will be critical to your success within our Industrial Security group as well as your attention to detail and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
You may be required to travel and a valid driver's license would be necessary. This position is on site in Goleta, CA.
What You Will DoAdminister security clearance briefings to employees who are granted a security clearanceDebrief Personnel upon notification of Retirement/TerminationEvaluate compliance of personnel security activities with security requirementsConduct security self-inspections, program security reviews, apply risk mitigation methodologiesSupport customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirementsAdminister day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.Analyze security issues/problems and provide focused solutionsQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a university degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study and a minimum of 2 years prior security experience OR an Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of prior experience.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualification We Value
Previous direct experience as a security professional with experience in any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and/or ICD 705.Demonstrated experience working with access control systems, integrated defense systems, government personnel access systems.Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, SPO, SSM, CSM, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
