End User Support Specialist

OPEX Corporation is currently looking to hire a full-time End User Support Specialist position in our Plano, TX office. We are looking for a worker who can commit to a full-time schedule during our day shift that runs from 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm. We are looking for an End User Support Specialist who will maintain and repair computers, tablets, printers and other related Information Technology (IT) equipment. Will install, add and change software. The ideal candidate will be experienced with computer systems and be able to work diligently and accurately and possess problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.

Essential ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain computers with custom software and drivers for both local and remote users. Ship to remote users.Diagnosing and repairing computers/tablets based on interaction with the userSet up and maintain Audio Visual / Videoconferencing operationsMaintain other related IT equipment (e.g. printers, UPS)Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers and core software such as Microsoft Office applications correctlyBe the front facing person who will represent IT in PlanoOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications

2-5 years' experience performing break/fix and IMAC (install/move/add/change) in a corporate Windows OS / Active Directory environmentAssociates degree in Computer Science desiredExperience using any ticketing systemAbility to effectively communicate with othersAbility to work well in a team setting and independentlyMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain details to all levels of usersStrong Office 365 troubleshooting skillsCompTIA A+ requiredCompTIA Network+ desiredMicrosoft certification desiredExperience pulling and terminating ethernet cabling a plusPhysical/Work Environments

Worker will be working in both office and warehouse environmentsWorker will work mainly at a desk station repairing and delivering computersWorker must be able to lift 50 poundsSquatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the jobAbout Us
