We are looking for a MES Developer to help us provide superior technical support for associates at our $400 million Plant in Columbus, Mississippi.The ideal candidate has a four-year bachelor's degree in Software Engineering with great communication and organizational skills. This candidate is detail-oriented, ambitious, individually driven to succeed, and can provide exceptional application support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesProvide system architecture knowledge and application support for the Apriso MES suiteDesign, develop, and enhance applications to support production initiativesAnalyze, document, and continuously improve complex business and systematic processes and identify dependencies between technologies to help drive technical requirementsCollaborate with business users to improve IT Application alignment with production needsDevelop and implement Apriso Process Builder enhancementsManage small MES / .NET projects which may include coordination with nearshore / offshore resourcesPerform black-box, white-box, and integrated testing of software solutionsAnalyze Incidents and provide workarounds to maintain operational uptimeIdentify root causes to repetitive issues and implement solutions for resolutionAttend department-specific and other IT-sponsored meetings, workshops, and trainingsProvide on-going production support for PACCAR Engine systems and applicationsManage the relationship between specific business partners and systemsOther duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsRequired:Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering or an approved similar fieldCareer applicable proficiency of the Apriso MES suite including Process Builder configurationProficient in one or more object-oriented languages such as C# or JavaCapable of moderating and presenting IT incidents and topics in a team environmentProven Experience with Agile SCRUM methodologiesSelf-motivated and able to work effectively with little to no supervisionAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and professional behavioral skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteEmbody and promote PACCAR ITD values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Commitment, Openness, and LearningDesired:Experience with managing incident and service requests in a ticket management applicationExperience with project management principlesExperience with business analyst competencies (requirements gathering, process diagraming)Experience with MS Visio or similar process flow modeling toolAdditional Job Board InformationPACCAR offers comprehensive benefits from the time of hire through retirement for vested employees and their families.
