Worksite Location: Fargo, NDWordPress Developer Job Description:The WordPress Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.What you'll do as the WordPress Developer:
Meet with business to discuss website design and functionDesign and build the website front-endCreate the website architectureDesign and manage the website back-end including database and server integrationGenerate WordPress themes and pluginsConduct website performance testsTroubleshoot content issuesConduct WordPress training with the businessMonitor the performance of the live websiteWhat you need to become a WordPress Developer:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, a similar field or experienceProven work experience as a WordPress developerKnowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQueryKnowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVNExperience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and FirebugGood understanding of website architecture and aestheticsAbility to manage projectsGood communication skillsTake the first step on your new career path!
