QA Automation Lead with Power BI

Job Description:- We are seeking an experienced ETL QA Automation Lead with expertise in Power BI to take a leadership role in our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing processes for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data transformations, and validating Power BI reports and visualizations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation best practices, enhance overall testing efficiency, and ensure the high-quality delivery of data-driven insights. Responsibilities: ETL Automation Leadership: Lead and guide the ETL automation testing efforts, providing technical expertise and mentorship to the QA team. Design, implement, and maintain a robust automation framework for testing ETL workflows and data transformations. Power BI Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate the accuracy, completeness, and performance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand ETL requirements and ensure data quality. Automation Strategy: Define and implement an overall automation strategy for testing ETL processes, considering the unique challenges of data integration. Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for ETL automation testing and Power BI validation. Test Planning and Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes and Power BI reports. Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and collaborate with development teams to address any identified issues. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, ETL developers, business analysts, and Power BI developers, to ensure end-to-end data quality. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing insights into testing efforts and coordinating with the development team. Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain detailed reports on ETL and Power BI test results, test coverage, and automation progress. Create documentation for automated testing processes, including ETL workflows and Power BI validation procedures.
