Kforce has a client seeking a hybrid PM/Scrum Master to take on a large project. This position will sit in the St. Louis office and work in a hybrid environment- 2 days wfh, 3 days in office.
Essential Duties The major qualifications for the job would be experience including:Working with the development team, business, and program manager to create and execute release schedules.Collaboration in work prioritization, coming from multiple work stream groupsWorking with the development manager to ensure that the development team has visibility to be able to work on the highest priority tasksWorking with the business, development team, QA, release management, etc, to ensure progression of work items through the SDLC.Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right point of contact.Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolutionAssisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and communicating status.Supporting the Product Owner, balancing new enhancement work with production support work, setting realistic expectations.Providing support to the team, and leading by exampleTracking the project budget and working with the development team and business to ensure appropriate resource allocation. Required Skills/ExperienceProject Management/Leadership experience for at least 7 yearsExperience in the role of Scrum Master in software development environment for at least 1 year.Knowledge of SDLC.Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparencyDetail-oriented, pro-active, excellent communication skills and follow-throughExperience with MS Project and budget trackingKnowledge and experience in project management with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.BA/BS degree
Required Skills : Preferred Skills/Experience: PMP Certification MBA and/or Masters in Project Management First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM, ACP,PSM I) Knowledge of Agile approaches: Scrum, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc. PMI-ACP certification preferred. Knowledge of Agile Tools utilized from story to design task and release, such as Jira.
