Salary: $73,317 – 95,310

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a technical advisor to local installation information technology (IT) users in the area of policy and plans as related to IT systems.Qualifications/Requirements:

-U.S. Citizenship

-Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

-Knowledge of a wide range of IT principles, concepts, and methods, advancements, policies, design, development, testing and applications, both hardware and software sufficient to assess the organization’s IT business requirements.

-Knowledge of organization’s policy and planning formulation process along with its missions and objectives to prepare IT polices and plans.

-Knowledge of budgetary processes, cost-benefit analysis methods, and analysis of performance data to prepare budget recommendations in support of IT requirements.

-Knowledge of systems architecture, integration techniques and testing methods.

-Ability to analyze complexities of existing technology, reviews, revises, and develops policy, initiates plans for enhancements, provides management sufficient technical and cost analysis information through written documentation and oral briefings, to render informed judgments.

-Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness to stay well informed on rapidly changing technology, to evaluate its possible impact on organization missions, and to develop plans to satisfy requirements.
