Advanced Business Analyst

under a staff augmentation service contract. The analyst will work directly with Commerce's project team using an

Agile SCRUM

approach to improve business processes, gather requirements, and ensure proper quality assurance testing. Below is a summary of key responsibilities and required qualifications:Key Responsibilities:Agile SCRUM Development:Develop and review Agile stories.Collaborate with teams to implement business process improvements.Document and trace requirements using

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

and

Azure DevOps (ADO) .Address business process problems, offering solutions.Demonstrate innovations using ALM/ADO tools to stakeholders.Customer Collaboration:Elicit and reprioritize information based on customer feedback.Build understanding between development teams and clients.Extract business-critical requirements through observation and iteration.Business Analysis and Communication:Critically evaluate and reconcile information from multiple sources.Develop clear requirements specifications.Act as a liaison between customers and development teams.Make product and feature recommendations for positive customer experiences.Assist in outlining team roadmaps and communicating them to stakeholders.Project Scope and Management:Assist with project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.Collaborate with developers, SMEs, and users to refine and deliver requirements efficiently.Qualifications and Skills:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.Minimum

three years

of relevant technical or business work experience.Five years

of experience in rapid prototyping business flows, requirements management, system documentation, and working as a Senior Digital Business Analyst or in project management roles.Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio).Experience using ALM and ADO for documenting and managing requirements.Knowledge of web applications, client-server applications, legacy systems, and database concepts.Experience with

Agile/SCRUM

methodologies and story/acceptance criteria development.Analytical and Communication Skills:Strong collaboration, leadership, and project management skills.Proven ability to create end-to-end business scenarios for test case development.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse teams.Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Domain Knowledge:Extensive understanding of business processes, interdependencies, and the problem space from a business perspective.In-depth technical knowledge of business requirements for project executionThis role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills, ensuring that the analyst can bridge the gap between business needs and technical development, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver successful outcomes.
