IT Business Analyst

A client in the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong work ethic and growth mindset. The candidate will be providing Project support to the executive leadership and external customers/stakeholders for the business. This candidate will be tasked to build relationships and work in partnership with sister companies, and third-party providers utilized by this customer. This BA will be accountable for managing and delivering support requests, enhancements, and projects for assigned Business Unit / Products. This includes the planning, troubleshooting, facilitation of problem solving, and communicating of a variety of requests, incidents, and problems independently within multiple areas, collaborate with external and internal customers and vendors to analyze business needs and work with teams on solutions, cross-training to learn applications across the assigned Business Unit application portfolio. Learn the processes and tools needed to perform the role effectively, creation and facilitation of testing strategy, test plans and test scripts, serve as the conduit between the business partners and the technical team through triage, research, requirements, testing, and support, collaborate with technology teams, business teams, vendors, and subject matter experts to perform daily activities, lead in identifying the business impact of system issues and facilitate communication as appropriate to stakeholders. Lead assigned initiatives. Communicate status, issues, or risks to management and stakeholders. Elicit, understand, interpret, and represent functional and non-functional requirements including business and stakeholder requirements, data and information requirements, data integration, metadata, data quality, service levels, and performance. This role can pay between 55-60 per hour, depending on skillset.

4-5+ years as an Experienced Business Analyst with strong professional experience as a BA in an enterprise settingStrong support analyst experience as a BA and experience troubleshooting applications assigned to them (this role will be 70% Support/ 30% Project based)Experience gathering requirements and interacting the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needsExperience working in a Scrum AND Waterfall environment (or understanding of what makes them different)Experience Jira, confluence, OR Azure DevOps Boards (ADO)Proven accountability, drive and growth mindset is critical for success in this role
