Requisition #: 73666 The Role at a Glance The Information Security Access Validation Consultant will be responsible for facilitating and modernizing the overall process to ensure appropriate management review of access to systems, applications, data centers, source code management tools, databases, privileged access, and system IDs. In addition, this person will ensure Lincoln appropriately reacts to new and additional validation requests from auditors and management, as appropriate. What you'll be doing + Responsible to apply core knowledge obtained for the role to ensure the proper day-to-day operation of Access Validation and Security Compliance. + Partner with IT owners to determine access requirements for Lincoln applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. + Gather access requirement information to formulate access listings for the applications, source code tools, and database management systems as well as privileged access to various computing platforms. + Respond to, diagnose, and resolve problems during the access validation process. Includes routine problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution. + Coordinate requests for revocation of access with Information Security and/or business areas. + Provide customer service to internal customers, recognize what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to meet those needs. + Clearly and professionally communicate access validation requirements, processes, and respond to questions from Lincoln business, IT partners and management. Strong ability to adjust communication approach to the audience. + Provide support and solutions to managers as required during validation process. + Record accurate and pertinent information, for all validation processes, to ensure documentation tracker is consistently current. + Determine the priority and scope of each request to balance workload. + Report status of work effort to Information Security management and other business stakeholders, as appropriate, and meet agreed to timeframes. + Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external + Interface with internal and external auditors to respond to requests with appropriate information or documentation and provide walk throughs of processes when requested. What we're looking for + 4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, or information risk management. (Minimum Required). + 3+ years of experience in information systems/IT, IT audit, information security, information risk management, or enterprise privacy that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required). + SailPoint experience (Strongly preferred). + Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's) and Service Now. + General familiarity with submitting mainframe jobs. + Basic Active Directory experience. + Exceptional communication skills. + Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal and/or external clients (e.g. management, peers, colleagues, auditors, etc.). + Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Demonstrated analytical skills, with an emphasis on developing creative solutions to perceived challenges. + Demonstrated ability to identify, create and document process improvements. Processes must be usable by others. Nice-to-haves: + Experience working in Varonis. + Experience in working with auditors re: SOX/SOD/SOC applications. + Identity Management a plus. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail. + Sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information. + Ability to repeat a process, identify potential changes, issues, identify what's right/wrong. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). #DICE Application Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted through October 17, 2024, subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
