Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.Configure and optimize network settings to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot bandwidth bottlenecks, network latency, and connectivity issues.Conduct network tests and diagnostics to analyze efficiency and forecast performance thresholds.Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to integrate new devices and technologies into the network.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.Provide technical support and assistance to field technicians and staff for network-related issues.Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and cybersecurity.Participate in the planning and execution of network expansion projects and upgrades.Network Administrator Requirements and Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in Information Systems or a related field with an emphasis on network applications preferred.Five years of network-related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Network-related certifications are a plus.Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role, managing complex network infrastructures.Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, MPLS, and VPNs.Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus) and network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.Familiarity with network performance monitoring and management solutions (e.g., Wireshark, SNMP monitoring).Knowledge of network security principles and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.Experience with Industrial Control Systems networks is desired.Working knowledge of WAN/LAN concepts, including cybersecurity principles such as segmentation, network access controls, and firewall management.Comfortable traveling to customer locations throughout South Carolina.
