Entry-Level IT Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Support Associate to join our IT department. You will be providing excellent customer support to our associates while on the helpdesk to problem-solving hardware and software issues on the fly.

Responsibilities:Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.Recommend and implement solutions to prevent recurring system issues.Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.Ensure efficient operation of the company's IT environment.Provide support through calls and emails for computer-related issues.Maintain network connectivity for all systems via LAN and wireless LAN.Keep an inventory of IT hardware and software.Document helpdesk activities and solutions.Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and services.Set up and manage user accounts in Active Directory and provision access to Exchange, VPN, and print services.Perform basic security tasks such as password resets and access management within a Windows-based network.Assist with the ERP systems: NDS and E-EmphasisQualifications:

Administrative knowledge of Windows and Office.Experience with PC hardware installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, FTP, and TCP/IP.Strong technical knowledge of PC hardware.Ability to understand technical manuals and documentation.Research skills for troubleshooting PC issues and evaluating products.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Strong problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Team player with a strong customer-service orientation.Flexibility to work outside regular hours for system maintenance.Physical Demands:

Ability to sit or stand for long periods.Capability to walk up and down stairs and cover extended distances as need
