Job ID Number R3784 Employment Type Full time Worksite Flexibility Remote Job Summary As a Senior Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user computers, such as servers. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Server Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user computers, such as servers. This role is full-time, remote, and a long-term contract. What You'll Do Regularly check server health and performance Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely Apply patches and updates to servers to maintain security and efficiency Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest updates and security patches Implement and manage backup and recovery plans Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place Provide technical support to IT staff and employees Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner What You'll Need Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in server administration Strong knowledge of server hardware and software Proficiency in managing Windows and/or Linux servers Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor #LI-CZ1 Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 - 8111.
