We are a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, a leading industrial manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with $1.5 B USD in annual revenue, 8000 + employees worldwide, and publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.Job Overview:Under general direction, performs a variety of routine to medium computer (and their peripherals), networking and communications tasks in support of all Local-Area-Network (LAN) computers; familiar with the most recent computer operating systems on client and servers; maintain and support desktop hardware and software; perform a wide variety of technical duties involved in the installation, repair, and maintenance or personal computers, peripherals, servers and equipment. Respond to IT tickets assigned in support of multi-location users.Responsibilities:Install new and / or update computer workstations, printers and peripherals, and client software for local and remote usersTroubleshoot and resolve computer and network problems; escalate and ask for assistance to resolve problems in a timely mannerRespond to assigned IT Tickets in a timely mannerDiagnose computer, network and communications problemsPerform software reloads and upgrades for computer systems and communications equipmentImplement computer / user controls to secure and promote the proper functionality of user community networked computersInterfaces with vendor technical support staff to deploy and resolve hardware, software, and networking issuesMaintains IT supplies and IT assets inventory and coordinates the disposal of all unwanted IT equipmentResponsible for monitoring and maintaining computer operations areaAdminister, deploy and support VOIP telephony equipmentMaintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; exercise time-management, documentation, organizational and communications skillsCommunicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (English & National Language)Organize, prioritize, and coordinate daily workload activitiesAny other duties as assigned by managementQualifications:

Associates degree, or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT operations support capacityStrong verbal, written, analytical and communication skills (English & National Language); outstanding listening skillsA mature yet flexible personality suitable to interfacing successfully with all levels of personnelExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, Win7, 10 & 11 operating systems, Windows Server 2013 - 2019An intermediate understanding of cloud-based environments and computingWell rounded computer hardware and networking skillsAble to articulate issues, build consensus around recommendations, and define next stepsTeam oriented, self-starter able to work independently and customer focusedDisplay positive and constructive attitudeDisplay business and organizational maturityDemonstrates an outstanding work ethic and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficientlyA continual desire and capability to learnHighly organized and detail orientedAbility to lift to 50 Lbs.Ability to travel
